By Road
Take the A55 Expressway to the Llandudno Junction exit and follow the A470 towards Betws-y-Coed for approximately 6 miles, until you see the sign for Maenan village. Slow down at this point or you may overshoot! Plas Maenan Country House is on the left, opposite Dolgarrog Station.
Alternatively...
From the opposite direction on the A5, take the A470 at Betws-y-Coed and staying on the A470 go through Llanrwst (keeping to the left) and when you reach Maenan village look out for the hotel sign on your right just after Maenan Abbey. Take care when turning into the drive.
By Rail
The nearest mainline railway station is Llandudno Junction, with a regular service from London Euston (journey time approximately 4 hourse) and Chester. Dolgarrog request stop on the Conwy Valley Line is at the bottom of the drive.
Because we are situated at the end of a long drive and in the middle of the Conwy Valley, you do need your own transport to get the best from your holiday.
