We sat in the new patio dining - the menu was to die for as were the views. We had a Sunday lunch, the beef was the most tender piece of meat I have ever eaten.
We had dinner in the conservatory where we had views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. The meals were excellent as was the service. We enjoyed the experience immensely.
The dinner and breakfast menus feature locally sourced food and were superb both in taste and presentation.
Highlights included the excellent cauliflower and local cheese soup, the rump of Welsh lamb, and the freshly caught local fish served with rice, and the most perfect Bara Brith for pudding (though there were plenty of more 'sophisticated' options too on the menu). Excellent value for money
The food was fantastic, drinks selections was great as was breakfast.. we will definitely be returning, put a bottle on ice for us Jane! The perfect getaway.
Very warm welcome from Amanda who took care of all our needs including my gluten/dairy intolerance. Lovely roast dinner & good portions. Will be back.
