Great British Menu finalist, chef Jason Hughes joins Plas Maenan Country House

Newly appointed head chef internationally trained, Great British Menu finalist, Welsh chef, Jason Hughes heads up a team of culinary experts at Plas Maenan Country House.
Jason specialises in Welsh, French and European cuisine having worked at a range of high level establishments (up to 3 AA Rosettes and 3 Michelin Stars) including the Savoy Grill by Gordon Ramsay, the Park Hotel with Martin Blunos, Chateau Rhianfa and the Blue Waters of Antigua. With all of his knowledge and experience Jason will be creating something very special here at Plas Maenan Country House.
Jason says "I am so thrilled about this position. I can't wait to join Jane and her team to launch this exciting new phase for Plas Maenan Country House."
Seafood Restaurant / Champagne & Oyster Bar Grand Opening
Our iconic historic building has had a major revamp. GlassRooms Architectural Glazing have converted the original open terrace with stunning views into a contemporary glass space to hold the new champagne and oyster bar.
The Seafood Restaurant / Champagne & Oyster Bar will be opening soon with a special taster menu & wine flute plus our new seafood menu. Featuring the finest fish and shellfish - classic or contemporary dishes all with Jason's unique twist.
