The Re-branding of Plas Maenan Country House
Plas Maenan Country House is not only steeped in history, there are also rumours of the Queen’s jewels being hidden in our basement in 1939, the start of the invasion. We also have tunnels beneath that are said to have been started in the medieval times and a beautiful tree lined drive with the London Plane Tree adorning most of it.
We’re currently working hard to bring Plas Maenan Country House into the 21st century, whilst at the same time keeping its character and Edwardian theme, as well as its colonial look and feel. Work is already underway for a fully glazed Champagne and Oyster Bar that will look straight over the breath taking views of the mountains and the winding Conwy River. As well as upgrades to the bedrooms and bathrooms and a fully accessible disabled entrance to the side of the property for the ballroom and bar.
So, we needed a new logo that was fitting with our property and as our beautiful drive is lined with London Plane Trees, we felt it only right that they played a part in our new logo and brand.
The logo has been derived from an actual leaf taken from one of the trees on our driveway and can be seen as pictured to the right. After a couple of weeks being pressed, we have also framed the leaf which can be seen on display in our reception area.
We are proud to have our wonderful winding drive adorned by these beautiful big trees and now it forms part of our commitment to the Plas Maenan name and the beauty that Plas Maenan Country House and North Wales has to offer.
